Default What do you use?

Beings as I'm a rookie on this forum I don't know where to find answers to questions. What I want to know is what do you folks use to clean your engine. Something like Gunk or what?

Try using alittle muratic acid mixed with some Soft-Scrub, brush it on with a brass bristled brush, let it sit over nite then power wash

If you have a black engine and you just want to make it look black again i would use a product called Pig Spit. Just spray it on and go. You will have to wipe the overspray on the chrome goodies but it works well.

simple green and a garden hose. On rare occassions, S100 and a pressure washer but that's rare. My rides are usually bug covered and filthy...

For those tight spots that have some grease or oil stains, I like to use brake cleaner (NOT BRAKE FLUID!) ane the wife's toothbrush.&nbsp\\; Engine sparkels, but the wife's teeth are turning a little blackish.&nbsp\\; Not a bad trade-off.

S100 and Simple Green, low pressure water and a good drying towel. Simichrome on the chrome when I have the time.
