Backpacks?

Anybody use one,when you got nothing else for carring stuff? Do they get in the way, any difficulties while riding?

Know a lot of people use em...I could never get used to them, but never had them get in the way or cause any issues when I did use em.

Used one on the NT (no windshield or anything) and it was fine, even at interstate speeds.

With a 6 pack in the bag on my back, It's a lot easier to kick start my old Evo chopper

Never.....ever use a backpack while riding a Harley-Davidson. Unless of course, your the chick riding on the passenger seat.

They get old fast. They will do the job. I would go with hard bag first.

Yup. Usually, I stuff a backpack with gym gear or whatever and stick THAT in the roll bag on back. Works out great![sm=smiley20.gif]

It would seem unnecessary on a Harley. There are so many options of luggage racks, backrests, etc. Other types of bikes seem to have done away with any type of utility options. Puzzles me. I guess we all have different opinions on "looking cool". A backpack would seem to be inconvient when you stop for shopping or whatever. Sure is nice to have a leather trunk on my SuperGlide luggage rack and still have room for my wife when we're out and about.&nbsp\\;
