Take it on the bike you are most familiar with... Your own bike. The Blast is geared pretty high and would take a little getting use to. Just my $0.02 worth...
 \\;I borrowed a smaller bike to take the test.The day I went down to take the test it was at least 100 degrees outside. TheDMV agent was less than happy. For some reason I blew the slaom just got my rythm off. I came back to her laughing and asked if she wanted me to do it again. She just wanted to get back in to the a/c so she passed me.
If you do decide to just take the test...change the date....I got married on Friday the 13th and.....well..JUST CHANGE THE DATE!!...trust me on this one.
There was a real good post aboutthe friction zone you show read. \\;
 \\;
Turning tight takes practice but it aint hard. \\; You play the throttle, brake, and clutch. \\; If the bike wants to lay inside the turn, just add throttle and let off the brake. If going high side, pull in the clutch and add brake. \\;The bike does all the work. \\; I think by practicing you will get it in 10 minutes and won't ever piNch up on a slow-mo U-E again. \\; GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Slide that ***. To counter the bike wanting to fall over in a tight turn, you may need to slide your butt over off the seat a little. Turning left, slide right and visa versa. I did the California test on a Heritage, so it should be a piece of cake for you. Good luck.
