As stated&nbsp\\;in earlier posts electronic throttles have been aroung for years and have been found to be&nbsp\\;proven technology. I haven't had any&nbsp\\;problems with mine and like the way it feels and operates. Having run my wires inside&nbsp\\;the bars&nbsp\\;all you see is a clutch cable&nbsp\\;on the left and a brake&nbsp\\;line on the right&nbsp\\;which makes&nbsp\\;a real clean look.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

Bingo...I don't know if it disengages the cruise control, but if you roll it forward it will either light up the ABS light green or red.&nbsp\\; Green shuts down the rear cylinder when you are in stop and go traffic to keep engine heat down.&nbsp\\; I have to use mine quite often down here in Florida when I am riding home in the crappy traffic.&nbsp\\; Roll it forward and when it turns red, it cranks the rear cylinder up all normal.&nbsp\\; At least that is how it works on my 08 RK.
