I have motorcycle breakdown support with Foremost for $8 a year.&nbsp\\; No limit on times of use that I can find in the contract.&nbsp\\; I covers RA for flats, gasoline or accident.&nbsp\\; I think I read they cover towing up to 100 miles.&nbsp\\; I haven't had to use it yet to find out what the contract verbiage really means though.

Sounds like a good plan EasternSP. One word of advice my agent gave me... with a group like AAA, you call them and they are supposed to know the closest truck to you. If you use a coverage like Foremost, YOU have to contact a repair station and arrange this yourself. Just requires a good knowledge of the area you are in. Nice for being around your "home" area, but a hassle while on the road sometimes.

&nbsp\\; Last week I tried to use HOG Roadside Assistance for about a 30 mile tow for a breakdown. Operator called me back saying my cost was $200.00 (I'm covered for the first $100.00). I told them no thanks and my dealer sent a truck and towed my bike back there. My $100.00 will cover that tow. My membership is coming due this week and I'm upgrading to Deluxe coverage (an extra $19.95 per year). That will give me unlimited towing, no mileage restrictions or caps and as many tows as I need not just once per year under the standard plan. The first year was free since I bought a new Harley and I thought it was a good deal but really it isn't. Upgrade to Deluxe or higher for unlimited tows. Also if they can't get you a tow in reasonable time find your own (if that's possible) and submit the bill to HOG and get reimbursed.

Fortunately I haven't had to use my HOG towing but one time.&nbsp\\; Instead of calling HOG, I called the nearest dealer who was open, they came out and towed the scoot in.&nbsp\\; They in turn sent the Bill to Hog who paid them for their towing.&nbsp\\; By the way, the dealer had about a 75 mile distance to cover just to get to me, and he wasn't my normal dealer, as I was on the road, about 350 miles from home.

Respects,
Ed
