Default My azz hurts!

I am about 1700 miles into a 4,000 mile trip. My stock (sorta) seat is killing me. I bought a gel pad but it only helps a bit. I can't replace this seat while on this trip but I am wondering if I can get a replacement seat that wont hurt my azz so much. It has to match the bags.

You're scaring me.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I have a 3000 plus one planned for next month with my stock seated Heritage.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;More worried about my back but&nbsp\\;I'm sure&nbsp\\;the azz will be screaming too.&nbsp\\;

Stop by Dicks Sporting goods and pick youself up a pair of padded bike shorts. The more expensive the better! For the sake of the rest of us, wear them UNDER your jeans [sm=happybounce.gif]

You could also order a sheepskin butt pad. If you are staying at a hotel a few days away, call them and ask if they would accept a shipment for you.

I bought a $22,000 dollar seat and it cured all that ailed me. They threw in a new motorcycle too.
&nbsp\\;
Just kidding, try highway bars and constantly adjust the pegs. It will move the weight around on the azz and reduce fatigue to the gludious maximus. After a while conditioning will take over and all will be well.

At least look for a sheepskin cover besides&nbsp\\;the gel pad you already have,
&nbsp\\;
Otherwise do your rear a favor and ride to a Harley shop for their Sundowner seat

I rode my Softail out to Sturgis last year and I found ALOT of the sore azz problem is cured by either Monkey Butt Powder ( J&amp\\;P Cycles ) or Gold Bond body powder found at most drug stores, Walmart etc. It eliminates the chaffing. Just powder up your azz and the boys and your are ready to ride. Seriously, this works great

If you're not gonna change anything in the middle of your trip, then once you get back home you could send your seat off to&nbsp\\;Mean City Cycles to be reshaped and have memory foam added.&nbsp\\; That would probably be your most cost effective option.&nbsp\\; Everyone raves about how great their seats are after he gets done with them.&nbsp\\; He also could probably just re-use the cover you already have on there, so you don't have to worry about matching.&nbsp\\; Also, I second the idea of using gold&nbsp\\;bond powder to prevent chaffing.&nbsp\\; I use that stuff almost every day.&nbsp\\;
