Just wondering when I should start thinking about replacing my clutch?
 \\;
I have 32K on my 2004 FatBoy with no problems so far. But I was thinking my clutch must be getting pretty thin as the miles go by. For the most part it's been ridden pretty easy \\;with mostly highway miles and about 40% two-up riding.
 \\;
The clutch show no signs of slipping but I was wondering what the average life span is?
You should have plenty of life in that clutch.. You canât think of it compared to the clutch in a car or a truck. A wet clutch should last a long time as long as you keep the maintenance up aka⌠keep fluid levels up and clean. Also, remember that if it does begin to slip, you have the ability to adjust it.. I wouldnât worry about it at this point. My .02
i have 52730 or so on my rg and i pretty brutal on her, clutch just started to slip last week gave it all the factory adjustments, seems ok now but i will replace in the winter... if it last that long, they don't call me ANIMAL for nothing.
