A new Moto Guzzi dealer opened up in my neighborhood. Also selling Vespa and Aprilia. Stopped in today to check out the bikes. My fav was the California Vintage - very classic looking with those design touches that Italians do so well. Need to see if I can catch a demo ride one day
Man, My Dad had an 850 Eldorado back in the 70s, it was a cool bike. I got to ride it just a bit after I turned 18, it was crazy when you revved it at a light, the bike torqued left I believe.. to the side anyway.
Very nice bike though, he put allot of miles on it IIRC.
I always liked the motors too, but I didn't know they still made 'em either. Seems like I remember they were pretty reliable bikes. Lots of European cops rode 'em.
I have a 02 Guzzi California Special Sport. Bike hauls ***, handles great in the twisties, and drawls lots of attention. No problem getting parts for it, but not much in the way of after market custom parts out there.

Beautiful Guzzi there, Rugar! Those California models are so damn nice.
I think I dreamt about one last night!
I don't think they are priced bad for an Italian bike especially considering they are EFI and set up for light touring out of the door. Speaking of light, the California only weighs 580lbs.Not much more than my Sporty.
Hmmm...I feel like sipping an espresso and riding 500 miles on one of these Italian machines! lol
