well anytime you get up here you have a place to stay and a personal guide you say the word brother. if ya like to fish ill take to a great place where you can catch a 50 to 60 lb king salmon out of a little river talk about a rush. or maybe go down to homer or deep creek and go halibut fishing but thats work ( a meat hunt ) them boys can get like 300lbs thats why they call em barn doors. but man is it good eating, throw some on the BBQ and some beer ohhh man. summers are the best up here, winters well nuff said, but ive always stayed pretty busy during the winters as my boy plays hockey. but i also own a place in mississippi just about and hour drive north of new orleans we could have some fun there too
yeah, last year took off 3 weeks and rode and camped out west. single, no kids, no debts except regular mo. expenses. hope to stay healthy a few more years, retire and live that dream in a large way.
I've been in Alaska for two years and will only be around for another 8 months but your right this is one of the places people need to see. I live in Anchorage but just a few miles south and your in the most beautiful mountains with some of the best scenery God created.
I'm thinking about shipping my bike to alaska from atlanta, then having no plan for the ride back
Have the dream...lucky Im able to experence it in small bites....but having to bring home a paycheck limits it to a week at a time at best....but one day.........yes one day.......

I hope to do it in a few years, after we both retire. We are riding 3300 miles round trip to Sturgis this summer. That will be our first taste of long distance, multiple day touring. Can't wait.
