Who's this directed towards?! With the exception of 1 or 2 posters, I think most people said they aren't into confrontation anymore. I think you're over-reacting a bit. Maybe trying to prove what a tough guy YOU are, I wonder......
I don't know who it is directed at as it is a quote from earlier in this thread I just deleated most of it to shorten it.
And I am not a tough guy that is why I carry S&W. Uncle Sam taught me when,where and how to use it.
I dont claim to be a tuff guy, and I never start trouble. But when people try to run me off the road, or put my life in danger, then laugh about it, I'm going to do something real bad to them. If they sincerely make a mistake, and are apparently sorry for their actions, I would never hurt them. But when they are apparently taking joy in trying to endanger my life, I am going to get them one way or another.
I feel that if we take crap off of people like that, they are just going to keep doing it to another biker, and possibly take his life.
I feel that we owe it to each other to stop those kind of redkneck Mo Fo's by whatever means. So all if the passive riders can wait on the cops to do something,let me tell you, that rarely works. We all owe it to each other to make sure that those jerks pay for their actions to the point that they will think about it, before they do it again.
Twiggy was absolutely right in what she did, it duffused the situation and may have saved her and her husband. Nothing ever gets corrected by just puzzy footing around, and I am proud of her for at least having tha ***** to stop it.
I think I would have at least put a hole in their radiator! The last time something like this happened to me, was when I was in my late teens. He was one of those red knecks that thought it was all funny and was laughing as he was trying to run me off into the center median. I followed him to his favorite watering hole and drug him through the window of his car, and pounded his ***. Being that I lived in a small town, I saw this guy a lot while cruising around, and guess what, he was a very polite driver around bikes after that. I do not condone beating people unless they really need it, but he needed it and it stopped him from being an azz hole to bikers.
I am not going to ever take crap from a redneck cager when they are deliberatley trying to kill me, end of story!
I don't know who it is directed at as it is a quote from earlier in this thread I just deleated most of it to shorten it.

You brought some humour to the thread which is good,I liked it.The originator of the quote is a guy who got beat up in a thread titled "Harley Envy" for his comments about the way I handled a situation envolving crotch rocket riders bumping my truck because I have a HD hitch cover on it."I covered them in tire smoke" So,I never claimed to be a bad*ss but I'm not going let anyone get away with crap like that without some payback.Anyway this guy followed me to this thread and posted the original dumb comment.Thanks for making me laugh!

I haven't read all the replies in this thread, just 'skipped' to the last page and noticed this post, so this shouldn't be taken personal by anyone, but there is a lot of truth in the above post/statement.
I've been around violence, and many that I would consider to be 'truely dangerous people' most of my adult life, and I would be more concerned about the quiet person sitting there minding his own business and taking everything in than some guy talking tough, drawing attention, and bragging on themselves.
There is an old Latin saying that goes something like this;
OK, but again with the exception of 1 or 2 people, 98% of the respondents to this post said they would be pushed real far before they did anything! Why the over-reaction and name calling?! I didn't read any posts that inferred someone was a tough guy! Even in my post I said I wouldn't react the way I did when I was younger....I just don't get why some people feel the need to post this BS accusing people of being "internet tough guys" when so few did. Seems to me YOU'RE trying to be the tough guys. Get over it and READ before you post. Calm down already, you're over-reacting to nothing...it's annoying.
Life's too short as it is. We travel armed, but would never consider pulling a gun while riding. If we're both on our bikes, we can ride away. I only carry for peace of mind when we're holed up at a motel, or walking across a dark parking lot at same. Only time I'm willing to resort to force is when life or bodily injury is threatened. Anything else, I reach for my cell and let my taxes pay the bill.
