A pair of wire cutters on a valve stem will slow a semi if it's stopped.

You can send the dollar to cover the cost of the valve stem to the driver's boss.

As far as other situations, the last time I hit somebody, he sat down and I left. The doctor told me later that the bone in my hand probably wouldn't heal well enough to hit anybody again. So I don't really feel like I won, and I know I won't win next time.

I'd rather outsmart the idiots from now on, which leaves me at a distinct dis-advantage.

But when someone almost hits me on my bike, it's attempted murder in my book. I need to quit getting so pist off when it happens, I guess.

I tend to not put myself in situations where I have to make that choice.

Same. If push comes to shove, Ive had my *** kicked before. When it comes to my family, its a bit of a different story. I carry, and I hope I never have to know.

I get to that point after a few of my teeth have been knocked out, broken nose, etc.

After that, it's on: I march straight home and tell my Momma.

With all due respect, you are lucky to be alive...waving a gun at someone ,especially someone in a Semi BEHIND you, isnt the smartest thing to do...I carry (legally) a handgun(s) almost everywhere I go and would NEVER pull one without the intention of using it.....JMPO

I agree 100%, I guess that was kinda my point. The older you get, or more you've been around the block, the more you learn to pick your battles. I just didn't see too many people responding with a "tough guy" attitude. Most agreed with you and I, sometimes it just ain't worth it. So peace, no harm, no foul, my friend.

I don't carry, if you do and pull it, you better shoot to kill and you better not have a ***** little gun, 40 cal or bigger is the only thing I'd have. A 9 mil is just gonna **** some people off.

I'm generally laid back, but try and kill me and all bets are off.

....first you " dont carry"...then you specify "a 40 cal or bigger is all I'd have"....then "a 9 mil is just gonna ****....."....the difference between a 9mm and 40 cal isnt likely noticeable to the target/you...I got news for you pal...a well placed 22 and you are dead meat....I dont care how tough you(think) you are...:>)

I dont know about the one shot but try .22 cal for highest # of handgun deaths..(probably because more people get shot with them...:>)....at least it was when I took my HCP safety course...:>)

I could write pages telling you all how tough I am, but actually I'm one of those "quite ones" that you all have warned about. REALLY, I AM!
