try here instead

need some advise. bike has been sitting for a couple of weeks. went to start it up and the throttle grip is stuck when you roll on the gas it wont go back to idle. this morning i have lubed everything i can find, lubed the grip on the handle bars. sprayed lubed down both cables. nothing is binding up sprayed the, i guess you call it a return spring at the intake.
still wont return back. is my cable messed up and time to get new ones? braided ones?
forgot its a 2007 road king classic

Is it possible something in the crusie control module is interfering with the operation of your throttle? Just a guess...

may sound stupid but did you back off the thumb screw on the under side of the switch housing
