being that you changed bars, you are now positioned differently on the bike, could that possibly cause your grip to have changed? maybe you are now putting more pressure on the bars or gripping too tight.

i'm sure this has been thought of, already, but i just thought i'd throw that out there...

Yeah, someone removed the grips and pounded a bunch of lead fishing weights in and said it fixed it.

Others have reported vibration with poly but not with rubber, as one poster above mentioned.

Here is something I have done with every bike I owned, Pull off the grips or the end caps if you have them and suck a string through the bars with a vacume cleaner, so you have a foot or so hanging out each end. Now take a rubber hose about 1/2" OD (the softer the better). I use vac line bought at a parts store. Cut it to length about 4 inches shorter than your bars. Make sure it does not bind up your throttle. Now tie the string to the hose ,smear some dish soap on the hose and pull it through the bars. Then leave the string on and stuff it in the hose just incase you ever want to remove the hose. Always pull it from the throttle side so the string ends up on the clutch side of the bike. Now button everything up and take it for a ride. Wherever the hose is making contact inside the bars it is killing the vibration. It has always worked for me , my hands would always get numb and it has cured it for me. Try it it can't cost you but a couple bucks and you might get to keep your new bars

Would you be up for letting your indie actually ride your bike so he can give you a second opinion on the vibration?

I have suggested this a couple of times, but he doesn't see the necessity of it, obviously.

I had a bad vibration once in a Yamaha Venture. I replaced it with a Road Glide. Now it throbs.

Shakey it will take about ten minutes to do this. Do it yourself a see if it works. Maybe find a new indy. I saw where you had iso grips installed , they have end caps so no need to pull the whole grip.

It's your member name that's doing it, change that and it should smooth out ,, o-k all jokes aside, the new bars you're using probably has changed your wrist/arm position as well as they are probably a lot stiffer in design, my point is they don't flex as much and with the stiffer bushings this all amplifies the vibration to your hands, anytime you change anything there's always a trade off of some kind.

The harder riser inserts only transmit vibs easier. Are you sure something else isnt causing the vibs thats being pathed to your handlebars???? Check bike over good for something contacting. All it has to do is just touch, like an exh or something else you added on recently.
