How cold is too cold.

Depends. In spring I find myself riding in when it's in the 20's, so long as it gets into the 40's for the ride home. In the fall I usually stop riding in when it drops into the low 30's. I don't wear chaps or heated clothing.

My coldest is 26 degrees. I participate in meals on wheels every Thanksgiving, the bikes escort cages to elderly people homes and we give them Thanksgiving dinner, I'd ride if it was 10 degrees, these elderly folks look forward to seeing the bikes each Thanksgiving.

Being born & raised in FLORIDA has me spoiled......The ONLY thing that keeps me off my DELUXE is the rain, and I have a good warning because I can look out over the beach and see the "boomers" rollin' in........

I am not sure yet but plan to test it this winter lol
It was about 52 this morning when I left with just a light jacket and light gloves and I felt good so we will see as it gets colder.
I did start looking for a full face helmet and some better gloves though.
