idle problem
Just picked up an 84 flhs, 80 inch shovel, s&s hot setup rebuild, s&s super E carb. The problem I'm having is sometimes after I shut the throttle the motor keeps running fast for a for about 10 to 20 seconds before slowing down to a normal idle. Throttle is not sticking, removed bowl but all clean inside including jet, and float is very free moving.I also sprayed carb cleaner around manifold, no apparent leaks.
Any suggestions or help woul be greatly appreciated.

One of my bikes is an 88 FLHS and just due to age I changed all my cables. First symptom was a sticky throttle. Even after a lube it would start up again after about a month..All new cables last year and no more problems...
