Default good dealer experience

Went to my dealer last tuesday to get a quart of oil for my trip to texas that started Friday. Went and asked the mechanic what I should expect as far as using oil? Told him that I was using a quart every 1200 miles. He says no way...gets the office manager, who goes to the owner and wha la....! They knew I was going on a trip on Friday. Told me if I got my bike in that they would put me at the front and have me ready by Friday morning. I rode the 20 some miles in sleeting snow to gt my bike in. Picked it up on Thursday evening and left Friday for Raliegh NC. My 11 year old son got forth at the Southern Nationals in wrestling. Great sport. Anyway I'm in Vicksburg Mississippi now 1050 miles and haven't used any oil at all. Will try and get into Arlington Texas tomorrow afternoon. Was really impressed by the way the dealer handled it though. They seem to step up to the plate every time I have issues..repaired my bike after hitting a deer in 5 weeks. I know guys that have waited for 8 weeks to get a fender. They replaced my frame and all fiberglass in 5 weeks.......thought that was really great also!! Just my 2 cents worth......Tim

That is great, buy them some doughnuts when you get back. Dougnuts go a long way with the guys in the back. And for What $2.98 is worth could go a looong way.

It is nice to hear a good dealer story once in awhile. Even though they are few and far between!! Did they say why you were using the oil?
