I am 6' 3" and bought a wide glide and it fits me well. I have long legs and the forward controls in the stock position along with the tall boy seat made a huge difference for me. I bought the tall boy seat immediately after taking the bike home. Still looking to get either the highway pegs put on or possible push the current pegs out some more. But have the problem of the engine guard which limits how far they can go forward.

6'1" and 230lb. I had a Dyna FXD with forwards that fit me ok, but my new Road Glide is great -- I added the forward boards, still have the stock seat and bars. Very comfortable for big guys.

6 ft 3 and 260.. With a 34" inseam.. Love my Custom Softail.. It has forward controls and when I am on the highway I also tend to lay my leg, especially right leg straight out and rest it on the peg..
Have back problems so Mama's Roadking without a drivers back rest gets painfull quick.. She has a Crash bar with highway pegs as well as the floor boards.. so legs are comfy all the time..And she is tall and has a 36" inseam.. Loooong legs....

With the Sundowner, my back is bent differently, and I'm more upright; I actually don't like it.

TALL-BOY definitely raises your butt a couple of inches (per H-D website) and you can see how much thicker than the stock DELUXE seat which, by the way, has the LOWEST seat height of any H-D.......

Haven't tried a long-distance trip yet, but I can tell after 10 minutes that this seat is the one for me.

VERY COMFY SEAT....... great investment....... I don't even need to move my boards or add pegs or anything!

Default road glide vs classic

i have ridden a few bikes before i bought my road glide, the classic or ultra sits you higher but closer to the gas tank, feeling very cramped up front. the road glide is lower but sits you back further. i love the looks of the classic or ultra, but i seem to have more room on the road glide. although when i a seated on the road glide the controls shifter, brake are very close along with the floor boards. when your 6'5 at 240 lbs you get screwed by the idiots designing these things. same as cars, trucks, boats what ever you buy.

Excellent solution !!!! And nice scoot.

6'6", if it's stock, it don't fit.
Chances are WAY above average, if it is bone stock, the bars will hit my knees, and I'll look like a Shriner on a mini bike.
Did run an 01 Ultra, but redid bars.
They all seem short coupled. But do what I can to solve it.
Chopper has 3" over forward controls, plus seat is back. Fits me like a glove , unfortunately, no one else can reach the controls and the bars at the same time, their tough chit.
Kid is 6'7". He fits this.
