I'm 6' 6" and ride a Dyna Wide Glide. Didn't want to sit up any higher, which you do with the Tall Boy seat. So I stayed with regular seat and put on the Kury 3" extensions on forward controls. Is just fine now.
I love the look of my Softail but it is kinda cramped. If I could just add a seat and get a couple of inches that might work until I am ready to get something newer. I didn't really want to put floorborads on it so i'll check into the seat option. My gf is wanting a bike of her own so she just may get that Softail next spring. Thanks for everyone's intput.
6'4" 330, i fit in my RKC ok, tall boy helped (what u see in the pic) But then i went with the hollywood solo by corbin, set me down and back further than the tall boy ALOT better and better lookin IMO, all i need now is to extend my shifter and rear brake and im sittin nice. but the way it is now is great.
6'7"and I ride a 2008 Ultra. It is stock except for the floorboard extenders and highway pegs. I have put almost 11,000 miles on it in 5 months and I am very comfortable. My longest day was 852 miles two-up and I made it just fine. Much more leg room than my 2001 GoldWing that I sold to buy it. I am loving it!

6'6", 215, and I just recently bought a 2005 Dyna Super Glide Custom. I was worried when HD shopping about the same thing, looking like a monkey F'ing a football. I've got the HD forward controls on it, which are pretty much like mids for most people, so I added these puppies on the controls, and I'm really comfy now. They're Kury highway peg brackets for forward controls. Very trick piece of metal, and now I have tons of foot positions. I find myself resting my heels on the standard pegs, with the ***** of my feet on the highways. Very nice.
I just added a Sundowner seat and will try that bad boy out tomorrow.
No offense, but I can't believe one of you 'tall' ppl haven't jumped on this.
But here it is, N JOY the chit outta it. I LOVE IT, and play it in the grudge when one of my neighbors gets 'sassy'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NvgLkuEtkA

Let me know how that works. Thanks for the pics! If anyone else has any input bring it on!
Okay, just tried out the seat. LOVE it. I feel like I'm up higher on the bike, much more like what I'm used to. Not down resting my tailbone on the fender like it felt on the stock seat. Plus, the ground doesn't seem to be too close when I put my feet down at stoplights now. Great seat for a tall guy. The forward controls with highway mounts are the greatest for long legs as well. I finally went by some storefront windows where I could see myself as well. I certainly don't look small on the bike, but I'm just flat out never going to look small It's all good, buy what ya like and you can tweak it to fit!
