yup that's what she said about 3:30 tue pm (sunny, warm). i stopped at the stop sign then she pulled up to the one to my right. the flagger (yes flagger as in construction area) motioned for me to procede.as i entered the intersection i looked to my rt again and realized there was no way out. she t-boned me at about 12-15 mph. fortunatley she didn't hit my air cleaner as it was protected by my leg. the police and paramedics came. gave her a ticket and took me off in an ambulance. i got out the next day, there kinda worried about my rt leg as it's about 2x it's normal size. so it looks like i'll miss most of the rest of our limited riding season. i did request that her ins. co. supply me with a rental as i have rental ins on my policy. they laughed until they realized that i was serious. anyway, going back to bed, thanks for listening and any thoughts or prayers would be appreciated. 87 fxrc low rider, #528 of #550.
hdbill, sorry for your accident (or rather her accident involving you). Best wishes for a speedy recovery and hope you don't have to much time involved getting your bike fixed and getting on the road.
Glad to hear your ok the " I didnt see you " is heard way to often . Seems to me the employer of the "flagger" has some culpability here along with the driver as he was in control of the intersection.

Sorry for your troubles. Glad you came out of it fairly intact and are still sounding some what okay. Had a friend t-boned and lost a leg at just below the knee. You can rebuild the bike. As far as her.......B***tch! Sue the **** out of her. Pain and suffering yada yada yada.
I wonder if there is culpability on the flagging companies part? I would make some inquireies and I would for sure try and get some kind of compensation. It sickens me to lower myself to the level of playing the victim for cash but in these days if you don't take advantage of the system it takes advantage of you. How many times has your insurance gone up since you started driving? Every yearly increas is probably tied to all the payouts, you've been funding them forever, time to get some back.

Speedy recovery btw.
I understand where you're coming from but where does it stop? You're either part of the solution or part of the problem. Granted he was hit and is the victim but suing everyone and getting as much as possible only makes the system worse. I don't know the answer, I only see the path we're on isn't good.

Ultimately you are correct, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Obvously he is hurt, what's to say that he is more hurt than someone diagnoses? I'm not condoning fraud, just suggesting it as an option.

Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear that!! Famous words of motorists, "I didn't see him." People just don't look, or they're talking on their cell phones. I hope you heal quickly without any problems. Do you have any Percocet or Vicodin? My prayers are with you.
