...How much more riding season do you have left in your area?...
Atlanta and north Georgia in general pretty much ended its riding season a week or so ago...we're out of gas with no real prospects of replenishing supplies anytime soon.
Believe it or not, it got up into the low 80's here yesterday.
We rode into town last night, scoots EVERYWHERE. All trying to get one of the 'last good' rides in. Not going to have many more days like that.
We've had frost on the ballfield acrossed the street. Trees are starting to turn. Next week, hi's mid 60's, lo's 40's. It's comin'.
We like to make a run from here, up to Duluth/Lake Superior. Head west cross state to Detroit Lakes, and then to Mille Lacs Lake, and then home. We've done that run with the temps in the 30's, all day. Fall colors are FANTASTIC on that run.
We can have riding weather (no snow on roads) into Nov, but have been shut down as early as Oct 4th. We'll ride down into the 20's as long as it's dry. Here's a pic of Danny, RIP Bro,(http://www.bondslavesmcprinceton.com/In_Memory.html) Vol up YES, we ride in the 'cool'
Winter, Donna, that's when we turn this:

This is an easy answer for those of us living in southern Arizona, 12 more months.
Now is the start of our best 7 or 8 months of great riding weather even though our temps have been 100°+ for several days.
Well Rhonda, our riding season here in Tn. is about like yours, but since I spent 48 years in Alaska,a little cold weather feels pretty good to me!
As a youngster growing up,my buddies and I started out on dirt bikes and in the winter we would take old knobby tires and run sheet metal screws from the inside out and ride all winter! We would get out on the lakes when they froze over and have a ball.
Western part of Massachusetts here. Some mornings already are getting rather nippy for the ride to work (temps in the upper 30's). It's actually kind of a pain to get all bundled up to go 1-1/2 miles to work, so I take the "long cut" of about 6 miles, and I've already had to wear extra stuff in the morning that I don't need by lunch time. Hubby will ride later into the season than me, but not by much. Some years he's pretty much been done by November 1st, other years by December 1st. Last year we wintered our bikes at the dealer (a "free" service - yeah right) that is included in a special package we got when we bought our bikes. We HATED not having our bikes in the garage and so this year they will stay home, on a trickle charger. That way IF there is a decent day in the winter, and IF we've kept the snow and ice cleared in front of the garage door, we could take a ride. Hubby has done that in years past.
We're hoping for a mild winter this year. Also hoping SOME day to move to a warmer climate where we can have a longer riding season. (All year sounds nice). That won't happen for at least 4 or 5 years when his daughter is grown.
