Default i am seriously worried...

about myself. have any of you ever gone through this?

i am bored, bored, bored. tomorrow, after a couple hours at work, i am going to hop on the super and glide way north from the western 'burbs of chicago around the lake to northern michigan. frankfort, to be exact, to visit some coastal property i purchased several years ago. it'll probably rain, but i don't care. it'll probably get cold and damp the way michigan likes to get. i'll be all alone, and i want it that way. i'll visit fruit stands, some roadhouse saloons, coffee bars, and look for a low rent bike shop for reasons unsure.

i don't want to talk to anybody, necessarily. but i'll remain friendly. i think i'm depressed and frustrated with this economy. kin are itchin' and scratchin' for argument. not interested.

if i didn't have my bike i'd be truly insane.

right now i am living bob dylan's lyrics: people are crazy and times are strange. i'm locked in tight, i'm out of range. i used to care, but things have changed.

God help me.

Nah you sound fine to me, so you got a little spell of the blues, not sure what is causing the blues, might just be needing a change from the mundane, from the routine.

I think most of us go through that now and then, me I go through that once a year at least especially once the weather heads south and the warmth disapears slowly.

That's why we have Harley's. They're just the therapy we need when we need it and they don't cost a hundred and fifty bucks an hour. Enjoy the time alone out on the open road. Stay dry and, most of all, stay safe.

I would say relax and have a few drinks tonight, tomorrow enjoy a nice long ride and clear your head. Things will pick up.

yeah, start out with the blues and ride into the UP. Grey skies, just above the tree tops lining the roads. Damp, temp in the upper 40s by mid day. Not knowing when a deer might jump outa the brush into your path. The occasional hunters 30-06 going off, not being sure if they're aiming at you or some game.

They say (don't know who they is) that if everyone would put all their problems and worries into a big pile, that we would take back our own and be greatful. Think about the positive things in your life, enjoy your ride and let us know how your ride turned out.

God bless,
Mondo

Hang in there brother...times are rough right now, but tomorrow is another day. Riding is great therapy, but I'd suggest exercise as well. Hit the gym, or take a long walk...being active will help get your adrenaline and endorphins flowing which will help with the feelings of depression. Exercise is better than any zoloft, prozac or whatever else doctors will give you.

Ride Safe this weekend.
