do business with debrix motorcycles at your own risk
i ordered some muffler heat shields off e bay from them which the add clarly states will fit harley big twin or xl mufflers see for yoursel
you see those hose clamps in the pic? they need to be twice as long to fit around any muffler
now they want me to ship them back at my own expense for a refund, what turds
i was gonna buy another one since i got two mufflers on my bike but they lost my business now
I have bought several items from debix. I have found them to be very competent, accurate in their descriptions and some of the fastest shipping around. They even worked with me when I was almost 3 weeks in paying due to computer malfunctions. If you buy by mailorder or ebay, return shipping is almost if not always on the buyer. Did you ask specific questions about the item and their return policy before bidding??
Did you contact Debrix to see if maybe they would ship you some different clamps??

yeah i did but i don't how many people work there? it seems like i'm getting canned responses to my e-mails and they don't list a phone number on their site
but i feel i need to lalk to a real person now
heres a pic of the item on ebay i was gonna paint my stock muffles black then put these on for contrast
I see where the problem is, The should have advertised the part as an exhaust heat shield, not a muffler heat shield. Those are designed to go over the exhaust pipe, not the muffler.
yup these are the dimensions they sent me in an e-mail, after the fact
hi vance,
SKU# 30-0109 fits most 1 3/4" - 2 1/2" inch pipes...
now they don't explain whether their talking circumference or diameter here, but at this point i want another set for free if the product was as advertised there wouldn't be a problem
but now i need to take money out of my pocket, an extra expense to make a product work that they advertised for mufflers, they should make it right
thats what i did as an automotive manager fr 3 years
