Question New Way Shifter

Anyone heard anything about the New Way Shifter? It's a new product out that changes the way you can shifter H-D touring models. You push down for all your shifting? There is a video on you-tube and a website www.newwayshifer.com.

I did a search and there was a video and all, but it's not something I'm apt to buy.

Thank for the reply. This is my first time on the forum. Some of my friends saw people talking about my product so I thought I'd check it out. Pretty cool. Did you check out the webpage? www.newwayshifter.com I ride an ultra classic and invented it about 18mos. ago. We have about 10 dealers carrying it and have had a few sold ot rallies. Just curious, what don't you like about it?

Why would I want to push down to shift up? If I am shifting up I want to be pushing up. Other wise I will think I'm shifting down when I want to shift up and then I would get all confused and wouldn't know whether I was shifting up or down and that could make me go slower instead of faster and then I'd think something was wrong with my bike and would have to take it to the shop and spend (read "throw away") $$$$$ and that would really **** me off and then I would end up going to a bar and getting drunk cause I was pissed and get in a fight and go to jail and have to spend more $$$$ to bail out of jail. So just leave me alone. OK?

It's like extra chrome or anything else. You don't need it but it's an easier and faster way to shift. It also adds a good bit of chrome.

$365.00 shipped? I can buy a lot of shoes and don't mind shifting for that kind of cash outlay. Some may find it okay, but no thanks, not for me. Eglidegoodies.com has a similar if not more complicated floorboard shifter for $199.99, don't like the look of that one either. Why make something so simple so complicated?
