A** Hole Cagers!
So often those of us on bikes will run the shoulder just ease along to keep moving normally no big issue but this morning some jackass decides if he aint moving no one else is either and tries to block off the bike in front of me and myself.
We both ease forward while the guy keeps closing off the gap between himself and the wall, then when he is all the way on the left we cut back across to the right to pass. Of course being in a car he cant cut back across quite fast enough but that doesnt stop him from trying and I end up passing him close enough to kick the door on his car (I didnt but I was that close.) I gave him a few choice words as I passed and he blew his horn at me.
What the hell is this guy thinking??? Had he been successful in cutting me off with out hitting me I would have simply followed his *** to work and kicked the **** out of him, had he hit me he would have caught and *** kicking and a criminal charge. What if I had been a member of that 1%? and decided to smash out the window or kick his *** on general principle?
Seriously what the hell does he care if I am passing, he was just pissed because he was stuck and I was not.
Screw you *** holes!
Nothing worse the kicking in the door and then running into the wall and wrecking my bike and looking like an idiot all at the same time.

And I didnt have anything handy to smash it with LOL.
Maybe I should carry something along to key the **** out of the paint in the future??

I don't think just because there is traffic and you have an air cooled motor is reason enough to start lane splitting (which that really is when you think about it). I've done it too, but it's usually more because I'm afraid of me overheating than the bike. Unless your bike is running so lean it's barely running, you shouldn't have any overheating problems with the bike typically.
Keep in mind the criminal charges would've applied to you, not the cager even if he smacked you. People run over bikers and barely get a slap on the wrist (certainly nothing more than misdemeanors, unless there was drinking involved!), so bumping you won't be any worse. You'd probably end up spending the night in jail.
I'm not defending this azzhole by any means, it would've been nice (and probably fun!) to kick his passenger window out when you passed him, just to prove a point, but that's now how our society works unfortunately. I think it should. We should be allowed to do more azzkicking, makes for better friends eventually and keeps things civil!
