i currently have two pair
- red wing riding boots. bought em cause they slip on. use them for nice day trips and around town. werent' comfortable to walk in initially but are getting broken in. not sure if it is the boot or me.
- HD fxrg boot. use these when its colder or on trips. they are waterproof and i have been in downpours with them and have stayed dry. they lace up so it takes longer to put on which is why i have the red wings.
I did have a pair of Redwings when they were still made in the USA. Now their made in China. I bought a pair of Carolina black loggers,(made in USA!) and am happy with them.
Nah, just don't spend so much on them that you mind getting them scuffed up. I toe shift and and it just adds character.
Shush GG, if JJ hears what I'm sayin' it's goin' to be a real thumpin' agin Left toe on her Tony Lama's will leave a lot of rubber marks on my boney a$$
