I always thought it was a patch with wings hangin' down supposedly meaning that you crashed your bike.I guess that it's a sew on patch.....Why would anyone brag about crashin'........or........I could be wrong....it may have another meaning...Who knows?

Well if that's all it took than I could have gotten one long ago. I had a meany tell me that his chaps with the fringes on them made him a tougher biker than me. My feelins were so hurt it took me a month of counseling to even be able to ride again. OH THE INHUMANITY OF IT ALL!!!l

captain m-it's not that I want ta brag. It's just that each of the patches/pins on my jacket are there because they remind me of something or someone who's been a part of my story. Not bragging, just sorta adding a piece to a biography of sorts. I love when I see someone with a sh!tload of patches on a vest or jacket and ya ask em what they mean and get the whole "they're just kick *** patches" answer. To each their own I guess.

sorry scramboogie, really ,I was thinking of the big patch on the back of ones jacket, vest whatever. Here's my story... My neice sent me an HD shirt from Kuwait(she served there) it had an eagle with the wings folded down(as in a wounded eagle).Well the symbolism kinda got to me and I won't wear it while riding. After saving their asses, and all we did for them(and are still)why would anyone design a shirt like that with broken wings,it just pissed me off to no end. Most of those phony bast**ds up an ran to France instead of trying to defend their country.....AS far as I'm concerned ,the whole middle east can just KMA!!!!
I'm truly sorry if I offended you in any way,it's like you say,"to each their own",I just went off on another tangent for a moment!!!!LOL

You deserve two patches. One for the chaps, and another for the fingerless gloves!

Lmao. man, some of those replies crack me up. Talk about a hard audience to please. No need for an explanation post Scramboogie.

Anyhow, here's a story. This D1ckwad goes to the States and brings back a load of Harley patches. He rides a chopped Honda, nice scoot. Kind of looks like a rat bike.

So he's selling a load of these patches at a stupid margin to us Harley guys. I must have been the only one not to buy any. Then I notice he's sold a broken wing one, a big one, to a bud of mine and I explain the patch and tell him to change it for another. So he goes over and explains it to the dude selling 'em. ..... Dude says..... tough, ain't taking it back and not exchanging it either. ...... So guy pops him one. There he is; on the ground; completely confused and I go over and say........ if you didn't fully understand that; I can explain it to you again. Lol.

He took the patch back. ....... Man, some people must go through life constantly getting their a$$es kicked.

DemKay, just wondering here, Is there a broken nose patch? And if so, did you buy it, and give it to the guy sellin' patches that's on his back whining?....

Broken Wing Patch is worn or can be worn when Bike goes down period. I wear one on my cut for a Brother that went down and did not survive....Wear what you want when its your call. Listen to NO one.......Ride Safe and Often....BearC.Paw......
