Wink I'll pay someone...

... to come hook up this damn PCIII on my Nightster. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to fit it under my seat. Seriously... anyone in the San Francisco area who wants some beer, maybe dinner and $50 let me know.

Laura

If you were a little closer I would be happy to do it for you for free. Perhaps some pictures of the area you are trying to locate the PCIII and I might be able to talk you through the procedure.

Nah... I don't think so. I've installed my drag bars, grips, hwy pegs, pipes, a/c and headlight without any "chick" problems in the past, so I'm not a mechanical idiot. I think it's a PCIII vs. Nightster problem. :-)

I would love to, but I left my camera at work.

It sould fit there, cause that is where everyone else has it... but my wires seem to be all over the place and nothing like the picture in the powercommaner.com instructions say.
I'll just continue to try to stuff them wherever they can fit.
I would much rather pay someone else to do it though :-)

Just zip tie all of the wires so they are between the frame rails. There should be a rubber stub on the bottom of youe seat, make sure it does not seat on the wires either.

You can do this yourself. And when you get it all done, have a nice cold drink and sit back and admire your work

If I was at my sisters, I could be more help. She lives in Lancaster.

Dustmaker,

Appreciate the help. I guess I will get to zip-tying. I think I'll enjoy the cold one during and after :-)

I have not installed one on a Nightster, but on my Street bob I had to pull all the wiring out from underneath the seat. Once I had all the wiring out (it required unplugging a connection or three) I installed the PCIII, then found a way to get all the wiring back in again around the PCIII. When the wiring was removed I found I could create lots more room putting it back in myself. It appear the factory had just jammed it all in there.
