If you add just pipes or just a high-flow A/C, you don't need to do anything else.
If you add both the pipes and the high-flow A/C, then you need some type of fuel management.
I chose the V&H Fuelpak since I have a V&H exhaust and I'm not going to do any engine work in the future. If you're going to do any engine work in the future, you should choose a tunable fuel management system.

If your just changing pipes you don't have to do a thing on 08's & up as the ECU will adjust itself but I was told when I put on my Rush 2.0 pipes that if I went for baffles larger then 2.0's I would need a management device. If you add a high flow filter you must add fuel management no mater what. I run aftermarket pipes & high flow air on both of my bikes & they have V&H fuelpaks. I'm very happy with them. Simple install too.
