My son was born 17 years ago, a premature 2lbs 17 oz little undeveloped little person. Don't worry, I am sure he will be fine. It was real hard for me at the time and I am sure it is real hard for your family at this time. Just keep praying and I'm sure in 17 years, your riding buddy will be proud to ride with his poppa.

Preemies will lose a little weight, and don't worry bout the jaundice. Mine also experienced that. Mine went from 2lbs 10oz to 2lbs 13oz...then back down to 2lbs 5 oz in a matter of a week or so. I feel your pain but be strong for him. He's going to be fine.

Congrats Juno!!! Almost 21 years ago my son was born with the same issues your grandbaby is going through. The first couple years had their challenges but he grew up to be a great kid and a helluva competitive hockey player. I'm sure he will be fine. Be strong for the parents. As you know it can be a emotional roller coaster. Best wishes for all.

Juno,

My heart and prayers are with you. Although this does seem extremely frightening, trust he is in good hands. He is going to be just fine, and in 16 years you will look next to you and see your little buddy riding right with you. He was just born early cause he wanted to get the 16 years over with. He is too excited.

He'll be fine Juno. Just fine.
