We were started in a Bar
Our "club" patch is 3 pieces
We all had to earn the privilege to wear it
We've never surrendered it
Nobody wants us around....until they need us
They've been trying to get rid of us since we were founded
We have to beg borrow steal, or get given everyone's discarded equipment
We have done, and still do more with it than anyone can
We are proud to belong to a small part of a large group
Only those who earn it can claim the title
Does that make the USMC the "original" 1% club?
