Looking for a good pair of Engineer Boots any recommendations?
I'm looking for a good pair of Enginneer style boots. Something that has a padded lining and a soft heal and insole. Something that doesnt have all the fancy graphics sewn into the leather and I don't really need a buckle. One last thing something that is so comfortable they can be worn all day at work and while at rallies. Is there really such an animal? Let me know what you think are the best boots.
RE: Looking for a good pair of Engineer Boots any recommendations?
I have a pair of HD's and would never get another. They are the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn, and they run over at the heels. I always have a pair of running shoes in the tour pac to change into if I have to do much walking.
My next pair will be Cruiserworks. I just haven't found anywhere to buy a pair without ordering, and I really want to try them on before buying. They are pricy, but they are guaranteed waterproof, and from all I have heard, they are very comfortable.

I've heard a lot of good things about RED WING boots. They wil be my next pair. I normally use MUSTANG brand but they aren't that comfortable if worn all day. http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/cb/...=BOFXC&i=92200

I was a Red Wing true believer and wore their Loggers every day for almost ten years until I started having trouble with my feet. Plantar fasciitis. My HD Harness boots are plenty comfortable and for some reason, relieve much of the pain.
