Default "Man Cave" Showdown!

OK, in addition to some mods on the bike this winter, I HAVE to upgrade my garage space. Way overdue! Let's see some pics of you best ideas, and/or descriptions of your most useful additions or upgrades. I searched for some and came up mostly empty. So let's start over.

Get 'em going!

Thanks.

Did you look in the "Showdown" section of this board?

Thanks for the link, Jim. That is a new standard to reach for! These website links will be great, too. I need inspiration. My space has needed work for way too long...

Nice looking garages! Mine looks more typical, ie, yard tools and ladders hung on wall, lawn mower in corner, bicycles suspended from ceiling, etc. You guys must have storage sheds for this stuff, huh?

I want to paint my garage floor so road salt dripping from the cages doesn't further deteriorate the concrete. Temps in my garage about 40 to 50 degrees. Is this too cold? Should I wait until spring.

To answer your question, I don't think you would be happy with the results if you paint at that temperature. Plus, your results are going to depend upon the prep work you do (etching, drying time, etc.) and at lower temps that could be a problem. As an alternative, this is what I use and they do a great job, last for a long time and you can put them down immediately:

I trimmed the area around the pads with simple "peel and stick" tiles and they have held up now for over 12 years. Good luck

I don't have photo's but I can offer up what I've done.

Tournamnet class dart board
2 Mini-fridges; stocked
Stereo
Cable TV (hope to get LCD this spring)
Burglar alarm
Carpet in the sitting area
Kitchen style table and chairs
Fold out futon
File cabinet for various items
Small wall heater next to the table
Playboy Calender (gotta dream)
Deer antlers (long time hunter)
Running water (seasonal)
Wall mounted bottle opener (must have)
Privacy coating on the windows
Shotgun
Microwave
A few select signs and posters

At the one end is a separate area for the bike, tool chest and various parts, nothing else.

Its mine, all mine.

FINALLY getting some work, so FINALLY have some $$ to work with.
The new Hot Dawg 45K hanging furnace is here.
Youngest is out today, we are doing a little wiring. New 100 amp brkr panel, outlets every 4'. Ceiling is all wired from B4.
Air lines go in after wiring.
Then plywood. I use plywood to facilitate hanging 'STUFF' . Plus it doesn't 'ding' like sheetrock. Needless to say, ALL the good pics are off the walls, right now.

It is a very fine line to walk, $$ for scooter, $$ for scooter storage/shop.
