Snow is supposed to be Saturday. Roads should be fine on Sunday. I'm still planning on doing the run.

My Dad lives next to you in Big Bear. Went there for Thanksgiving and there was plenty of snow on the east side of the mountain by way of Hwy 38. Not sure about the west side on Hwy 18. I most likely won't be able to ride up there for about 4 more months. Sucks.....cuz I love riding up to my Dad's place.

???

what?

you live in orange county, where you can ride all year round but you park your bike *in hesperia* where you *cant* ride it daily. and your "plan" is to drive out and visit it every couple of months?

really? you prefer to drive the car that much?

why not just uh, keep the bike at home, and yknow, ride it everyday? if you want to go to hesperia, you could "ride the bike there". its like 60 miles at the most?

why would you "plan" to drive out there and visit the bike on the weekends?

i dont get it.

Yeah... me either...

When Gustov decided to pay us a visit this past summer... I took the

Sportster to my brothers a few miles away and put it in his garage... Kept the X-Bones with me...

Still... after about three days I had someone drive me over in the rain to pick the Sportster up... just didn't feel right it not being at home and looking out the window at her...

Go figure...

Even if the Sporty is in the garage, I don't ride it every day. I don't commute on it, and I have some other toys that take up time.

You can't get over ten miles an hour because of all the snakes and alligators on the road. The mosquitoes can punch holes in your gas tank if you ride at night. Tornados are a dailey happening and what with the sink holes and tidal waves I'm sure you will all be happier staying up north. (Oh, did I mention the skunk apes?)
Yea, what Honest Bob said.......
