I live in the mountains of SoCal and right before Thanksgiving, I rode my scoot down to the desert and left her at a friend's for the winter so I could still ride without dealing with the snow, ice, fog, rocks, and etc. that screws up the ride going down the hill and really screws up at least 3-4 riders a year.
Anyway, since then it has been sunny, warm, and generally perfect. WTF?
I have never been without her, even though most of the winter she is just holed up in the garage with her battery tender plugged in, getting started occasionally and hardly ever ridden (only once in the snow and then for not more than a quarter mile).
This is bad man! It ain't like I lost my OL or anything, but it's as bad as losing a pet. Everyday, I start jonsing for her. Anybody relate?
move South where bike weather exist all year long. Here in Va we get some snow and ice but I ride year around. Go further south like Tampa Florida and see lows in the 60s.
I was holding out for the Chicago Toys for Tots parade on Dec 7, but with temps predicted in the 20's and snow, it looks like the only thing I'll be riding is the couch.
I feel your pain every year from Thanksgiving until the end of March. The only thing I ride during that time is momma (when I save up enough money to bribe her).
Yup. Should move the fec off this mountain! I do the beer, tv, and the woman but it ain't enough. HA! I'll get down there this next week maybe Monday/Tuseday. Haven't riden since Nov. 21. May have to be retrained.

Yep, it was a cold ride to work this morning, but at least I was able to ride.
