I have a neighbor that feels compelled to come over and talk to me any time he sees me outside. He always begins his "conversation" by asking me if I'm doing whatever it is I'm doing.
Him: What are you doing, mowing your lawn?
Me: No. My mower took off on its own, and I'm following it to see where it's going!
Him (standing next to the Harley in my garage, looking it over) Did you buy a bike?
Me. No.
Him: Belongs to one of your friends?
Me: No.
Him: So what's the deal?
Me: Not sure. I just came out to the garage, and there it was.
Him: I seen you riding it.
Me: Well, why wouldn't I. It's here, I may as well.
Him: You think it's stolen?
Me: It is now.
Him: You're just messing with me, aren't you?
Me: No.
Him: Is it a Harley?
Me: No. I think it's a Segway that someone just customized to look like a Harley.
...
