Dealer Auctions

My local dealer is having a bike Auction to reduce inventory. Sales must be bad. Anyone else see dealers doing this?

Iv'e seen ads for dealers having an "Sales Auction" on 08's but after looking inyo it, Looks like all the bikes had a reduced "Minimum bid price" that was nothing more than what you would have started at if had gone in and offered $1500 under base price.

Gimmick just to get people in the door, with sales slumping the dealers will be using more agressive and misleading tactics to sell.
