"A slung shot has been defined as a weight, as a stone or a piece of metal, fastened to a short strap, chain, or the like, and used as a weapon and is prohibited by California Penal Code §12020."
That makes the six inch "monkey's Fist" on my key chain illegal
The owners of the bikes are not the type I would walk up to and say..."hey, that's queer".
I suspect there are few on this board that would. ...and those few would expect to be lucky to walk away.
No, I don't make comments to anyone because of what they've done to their bike. It's theirs, and they have the right to do whatever they want to it. Just like I have the right, when I see something like a 'git back whip', to think, "what a dumbass".

This "and used as a weapon" is what makes it illegal, not simple possession. Lumber isn't illegal to own but can be used as a weapon. Keyword in that code is "and" . These lanyards are decorative and nothing more.

So ahhhh, slowenwobbly, is the chrome on your bike your way of being "dumbass". I presume you have some chrome somewhere, right? and it serves no other purpose other than your way of presenting your bike, right?

Actually, there are no parts on my motorcycle that aren't 'motorcycle' parts. So everything, be it chromed, painted or plated, serves a purpose other than just presenting the bike in a certain way. No whips, rifle scabbards, tomahawks or swords. If you don't like that... call me a dumbass.
What color's your whip?
