my alarm does not beep both the fron and rear turn signals flash. once i walk 5 feet away from the bike it arms, you can turn the ignighton on and turn the start button on and hit start and nothing. the bike is dead it will not start

You need to add the Smart Siren. If the bike has the security factory installed it is just the module that disables the ignition. If you want the bike to let you know it is being molested you need the siren. BTW, if you have a sporty the siren is a b***h to put on.

The HD Smart siren enables you to use the smart pager so you know when your alarm is set-off up to 1/4 mile away. The standard HD siren does not enable you to use a pager at all, so if you are away from your bike you wouldn't know when your alarm is activated or if you heard a bike alarm, you wouldn't know if it was your bike or somebody else's bike alarm. Spend the extra few $$$ and get the smart siren and smart pager...
