Default What do you use to cut open an oil filter?

I want to check and see if there are any pieces of the cam chain shoes inside. I found out a kitchen knife is not quite strong enough. Don't tell the wife...

Just ride over to my place. I have an extra hacksaw, with blades, you can have.

At 30,000,just change them, then you are good to at least 75 or 80 thousand, the chain is smoothed out and you are good to go.Did mine at thirty, they were not bad,but once inside you are dumb not to get the kit and change bearings, also changed the lifters, and fuel filter.
