Parked Motorcycle Syndrome that is..... Man this winter just hasn't been kind at all. Usually able to get the bike out for a couple times every couple weeks, buts its been brutally cold with constant precip. needing salt on the roads. Whats everyone else been doing to pass the cold winter time? I put on some short shots and started adding a subfloor in the shed to get the bike off the old gravel floor :/
I don't know how the people up north deal with it, but here in the south I can usually ride year round, not trying to rub salt in the wound, it is cold and gets real cold from time to time, but with the right gear and not minding the cold it is possible to ride. Now I am not saying that I get to take the day long road trips, but my usual comminute back and forth to work keep the motorcycle from being parked all winter
I too haven't been on my bike in 11 days. We need to be strong during these times. I painted the inside of the house and I am placing baseboard now. Do what you can to free your time in the Spring. Don't panic, we can get through this.....
Honestly I have a bad case of PMS. A July accident ended my riding season up here. The repairs took forever. By the time the bike was ready the snow was flying. The only riding I have had since July was Thanksgiving weekend in San Fran with a good friend who relocated there a year ago. Did the fly and ride thing with HD. So, yea, I am one hurting cowboy.
I got my bike 15, Nov. It only has 310 miles on it. I'm suffering, bad. I been easing the pain with mild doses of chrome. Just put a taillight collar and laydown license plate holder on a little while ago.
if i said how i feel. i would be kick off the web-site. it has been since earley nov since i last rode.i thought here a couple of week's ago i would be able to ride. but about a day before the ride the sky open up again.so we have about a foot of snow on the ground it's going to be a long and nasty winter.just counting the day's and it dont really help the last couple of year's has been bad.
