I think the quality of Chinese made products has gotten much better over the years.
NOT!!! Trust me....much of the reason that many people are moving to Japanese cars/trucks is the quality failures cause by Chinese made parts used in the Big3 vehicles. THIS IS A FACT. Compare the logevity of a GM truck driveline from a 1990 GM Suburban and a 2008 GM suburban and you won't see any differences but inside the Chinese components will not go 300,000 miles like the US Made ones would.
Go look at cars in the Chinese auto shows... the Chinese ones look like they were painted with a f%#king broom. The fit & finish of US cars is why GM is showing sales increases in Asia. Too bad they fukked us doing it.
It is quite likely that everyone reading this thread is wearing entirely foreign made clothes! So even the things we want to look good in, or just stay covered up, are made abroad, probably in China.
To be loyal to the home country (where ever that may be) is pretty difficult and likely to be expensive. Before looking for those US made wheels, try and find a US made T-shirt....
It doesn't end with tainted dog food. China will take every opportunity to substitute a sub-standard base material in everything they make. I have to certify every chemical substance that makes up the metal in our parts (all the way to the ground it was mined from). Try getting a similar reliable document from China sometime. When I found non-conforming (for lead content) material, it was rejected. It went back into their market, only to be sold somewhere else. Then we wind up competing with the garbage that we wouldn't use.
They have absolutely no concern for trademarks, registration to various standards, their own workforce, or what they do to the environment in the process of making cheap crap.
We have long since reached a level where some products we consider essential are no longer available anywhere but China. We have talented and educated people here that are willing to play by the rules, and they're out of a job. There will never be a stable economy unless you manufacture it right here. The entire country cannot work in the service industry. We are outsourcing our own freedom. Rant over.
I do my best not to buy anything from a country that doesn't have an equal trade agreement with the US, I hate seeing chinese parts for HDs, seems so unamerican.
btw- my sweatshirt is made in usa! shoes-friggin' china, pants-Dominican Rep. t-shirt-Jamaica
The last AK-47 was made in 1961. That design and all the designs afterwards were made cheaper by the chi-coms. None of thiers compares with the Euro versions.
Only the liberal media keeps using the AK-47 name to in still fear in the public that all guns are evil and must be taken away.
You can not enslaved an are population.
BTW the chinese people are jsut as nice as everyone else. I happen to be married to one. Its their government and others like it that was trying to destroy the US way of life that are the bad guys. Along with our now global wannabe government
