Having change out the rear turn signals from yellow to red.....just a thought, but can i change the front signals from yellow to red lenses without getting stop????
Depends on the local LEO. I did the exact opposite because my rear turn signals also come on with the center brake lamp. Now they get the center read and two ambers when the brakes are applied. The amber is much brighter. Nothing like have two caution lamps coming on with the read.

In the state of Missouri, it is unlawful to display a red light to the front of a vehicle in motion, unless it is an emergency vehicle. You might want to check with your local and state agencies.
I can say with almost 100% certainty that it is illegal in any state unless youre in law enforcement. In Ca I was written up for a similiar red lens on a big rig and was told the law is red lights cant be more than 6" from the rearmost bumper, and amber 6" from front. Although bike measurements are different, Im sure its the same premise.
I switched to rear LED turn signals a few years ago, with a converter to use them as auxiliary brake lights and running lights. I ordered them through J&P. I was going to get red lenses, but their tech said I better check to see if that would be legal, so I just went ahead and got the amber lenses. I have seen where a lot of members of this forum have gone to red lenses.
Now I am legal when my turn signals are operating, but when they come on with the brake light am I still legal, since they are not red? Very confusing.

This was the issue I had as my rear turn signals are amber but when I hit the brake they light up amber too. I have yet to be hassled for it. I also run a dedicated rear LED amber lamp on the sportbike and haven't been hassled for that bike either.
I think the OP was asking about FRONT lenses being RED and LEGAL and the answer is NO.
In many cases our exhausts are illegal too but it hasn't stopped us using them. Sure, red in front is very likely illegal as is blue but I have seen both being used.

Agreed, but the red lens is more enforced than the pipes are. The places that require inspection will most likely catch this as color of a lens is cut and dried whereas sound level is more interprative
