I need your help and opinion. A friend of the family called the house and left a message that her car broke down and to call. I get the call and tell her I'll be up to get her. It was 72 degrees and sunny so I take the bike (she rides her own so she has no problem on a bike). No big deal, pick her up and drop her off at her house. Anyhow at some point during our dinner conversastion that night I tell my wife the story about Nancy (the family friend) breaking down and about my picking her up. When she hears the part about me picking her up on the bike I get "the look of death" usually reserved for the kids. She says I should have picked her up in my truck. I ask what is the difference. Anyway, I'm still getting the cold shoulder. Did I violate some unspoken woman code? Girls I should would like your opinion in particular. Thanks
I don't know what my Wife would think. Guess it would depend on how good looking and old she is. Put the shoe on the other foot how would you feel if she picked up some good looking Buddy of yours on her Bike and he had his arms around her waist. I wouldent like it it's a lack of respect on Her and Him for getting on the Bike with Her. With out my permisson before hand to get my OK.
The Back seat belongs ta mama..... period!!!....
Now once ya got that down...
Others may use it.. BUT..
only with Mama's permission.. NO exceptions!!!!
My wife Rides her own RoadKing..
Rule STILL applies!!
Piece and harmony will reign once ya prove that
ya understand this rule..
Read all of the crap posted. There is no shortage of women out there. Your mistake is that she thinks you need permission or approval. Some of the women on this site will tell you that you have violated an unspoken rule. I wouldn't listen to me unless divorce doesn't scare you. Had a wife for a long time----still miss her pay check but I don't miss her. I have a girlfriend---sure would hate to have to miss her too.
I'm a guy....... I've long since given up hope of understanding a women's thought process. I'd have done as you , and I would have told her, and SHE would have just as ticked off.
Better to do, and ask forgiveness, than try and get permission. We're men... we're doomed
