i'm in the market for a new harley and was wondering what would be a good choice for me?? i'm 6'3" .. my last bike was a '05 dyna wideglide and this time i want something the wife will ride on with me.. any suggestions...
also how tall are you? and what do you ride??
jim
I'm 5'9" and assume I'm about average. My Fat Bob is a bit of a reach for me and likely would fit me better at 6'. At 6'3" all the stock bikes might be a bit small for you. You might want to consider extensions, bars and seat to fit the bike to you rather than trying to find one that fits you well stock.

if you plan to do alot of riding with the wife then id be going with a touring bike / bagger. My next bike for this reason will be the streetglide, roadglide, ultra
I'm a foot short for my weight.....A little under 6'4" I have an FL Softail that I put a XBONES seat on. It raised me up enough that my knees aren't up in my chest and it moved me back so I can stretch out my legs without having to go to forward controls. I also put a set of Floorboard Extenders on which made a surprising difference in comfort on even short rides. I can still put a passenger seat on if the Ole Lady wants to go for a ride or can switch back to the stock seat in less than a half hour.
I'm 6'2" and ride a Sportster Roadster. The misses is 5"4 and rides with me. We have no problems at all. I will however say things would be much more comfortable for her if we had a bagger.

Southpaw Super Glide: A Left-Hand-Drive 1979 Harley FXE Built to Fit the Rider
I'm 6'2", and the Wide Glide, IMO is the best fitting bike for me right off the show room
floor. They redesigned the entire Dyna chassis in 2006, and the Wide Glide was stretched like 2 inches. I don't ride two up, so I can't speak of that. So if you don't want a bagger, I'd say look for a nice Wide Glide(they don't make them any more). Or, if you don't mind a bagger, any of them will be fine. Personally, I like the Road Glide. Why look like every other bat wing on the road ? I like them all, but the shark nose is the most distinctive.
