Bought a used 2007 883L last April. Traded it in and received MSRP just as advertised. I was able to buy the 07 for considerably less than new last April, trade it in for considerably more than I bought it for this January and sold the accessories separately on ebay.
It was a great deal. You can trade in a used Sportster that you bought from someone else as I did, but it cannot have been purchased after the date that the program started (December 26, 2008, I believe).
