Default MoCo Nightster for Night Train?

Hey all, as the deadline for the deal Harley's givin out about the full MSRP trade in deal for sportster is comin up, Ive seriously been lookin at the Softail Nightrain for a trade-up. I LOVE my Nightster, but I dont know if down the road one day I'll want a bigger bike and regret not taking advantage of this deal. SO, in your alls opinion, what kind of a difference is there in riding/capabilites of a Softail Night Train vs my Nighty?

My wife has a Sporty, and I've ridden a Softail, and the differecne is...No pun intended....Night and Day.

Normally I'd crack a joke like "I bought a Sportster last month and put 200 miles on it, should I upgrade to a Road King now?". But with the MSRP trade in, it might be a good idea.

You might want to go and rent a couple different models before you take the plunge.

I did with no regrets. I have had my Heritage for 2 weeks and after 1100 miles, like rdam said, night and day. I went to the dealer a few days ago and saw my Sportster displayed for sale. It was kinda sad being my first Harley and all, but then once I hopped back on my new ride and took off, those thoughts disappeared. The MSRP trade deal is tough to pass up. I would still be ridin' the Sporty if it wasn't for the deal. No way I would have taken the hit on actual trade in value.

Well, I came close. Had my Low Rider picked out and everything. Test rode it and decided to keep my Sportster.

With the money that I would have spent on the trade-in difference, I bought a new KLR, and I've been riding the hell out of that for the last two weeks.

No regrets.
