Customize Helmet - DOT Sticker

I am painting one of my helmets to match my bike's paint scheme. The DOT sticker on the helmet is under the clear coat, and the labels inside do not indicate any DOT cert.

What to do, what to do? Anyone have a source for DOT stickers? [sm=lildevil.gif]

It will be under the clear coat, just like the original. Any problem with that?

Most of the HD shops and bike shops that sell non-dot helmets have rolls of dot stickers , just ask .

What about masking off the orignal sticker then letting it show through when you're done?
