In my opinion...this seems like a waste of time and money. If you have to wear a bunch of armor and padding when the weather is nice for riding the motorcycle then maybe riding motorcycles is not for you. Just my two cents.
Or you could respond to the op, and provide something constructive.
I have a leather perforated jacket, from HD, that has pockets for armor. Kind of hot sitting still, but when you're rolling it's not so bad.
I have seen those vanson leathers with padding they look nice, but priced a little high. But are they made with leather other then just in the arms for each protection?
Nice them about them is that you can unzip and take off if need be.
I may be talking alot about protective gear, padding etc., however it's just that I have seen too many of my friends go down unexpectedly, unseen dirt in the corner, bad cage drivers etc and the time spent in the hospital is not for me. A bike can be replaced.
Protective gear is a life for me and I do really care what others wear to be assess what I may like to wear also.
So far we have some good warm weather choices from the replies.
Makes people really think about what to wear always.
Thanks
In the summer I wear my perforated leather jacket with just a tee shirt on underneath. Works great unless it gets really hot, then I switch to my leather vest.

If you can't appreciate every facet of riding--including protective gear--then maybe riding motorcycles is not for you.
Open, this is the New FXRG HD mesh textile jacket kind of like the one I have. It looks like they have changed it a bit as now the FXRD and Harley-Davidson logos are much bigger.
My jacket has a very small FXRG logo on the left chest and a very small reflective bar and shield on the upper back. It is very cool in the summer with the liner removed but the liner is what makes it water proof.
I bought it in the middle of summer for around 40% off. It was around 95 degrees that day and I rode home with it on(minus liner) and couldn't believe that I didn't overheat.
I do think there are some better jackets for the money that have all ready been mentioned but when I saw that this one was on sale I pulled the trigger on it. I am not sure that I would do that with the new one as I hardly ever buy anything with HD logos and with this one they are much more pronounced.
I'm 42 and I gave up the Billy Bad-*** image years ago. I bought my bikes to ride so I am really not looking for a fashion statement or the "look at me look at me" attention. http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US
