I have a few pair of Carhartt though i like them the leg cuff rides up high when i am in the seat. Above the top of my boots which lets a ton of wind in and not digging the moose knuckle.[/QUOTE]

I wear the Diamond Gusset defenders. Kevlar reinforced knees, shins and rear end. Went down years ago, regular jeans are next to worthless sliding on asphalt! I still have the scars!!

Is that your kevlar shirt you wearing. That's what is next on my list of things to buy. I like the shirt but the jean jacket with kevlar and light armor sould like a better deal.

Cadman,
I have the kevlar shirt from dragginn jeans. It's not very comfortable. It's like a mesh but kind of itchy and hot against bare skin. I think I would go for the jean jacket. i may buy one myself.

If you've ever skidded down the freeway at 70 mph you'll know that any normal denim jean will vaporize.

Leather lined seat and knees is what I wear. Made by Cortech - $90. They just saved me some major road rash in November when I got rear-ended on the freeway. The seat of those jeans was GONE. Only that leather panel saved my a$$...
