May be he should get an automatic. Don't need no stupid guage to tell me when to shift. When it quites going faster in this gear I shift to another. Repeat this prosses untial you reach high gear or the blue lights get ya witch ever comes first.

Not sure where the mini shift goes into, but the mini tach went into the same p/a connection. I got signal from the ecm don't remember what slot. Not sure, but I had problems with my mini tach like I said. It was only at high rpm where I needed it to keep off the rev limiter. Post up some pics of your install. That is a bad azz location.
i wii dojust need to get some batteries for my camera. where did you connect you +. I ran mine off the fuel power line and am thinking this might be hampering it but not sure
